 Asymmetrical     These photos are asymmetrical because they are not mirror images. The parts of these images do not correspond to each other. Some are asymmetrical due to shape like the Main Building sign. The emoji set is asymmetrical in arrangement. The hiking sign is asymmetrical in shape. Symmetrical     These photos are symmetrical. They are mirror images whose parts correspond to each other. The emojis are symmetrical in arrangement. The table has equally sized benches on each side. The underside of the top of the tent has poles that are arranged in symmetry.

  This image of a shamrock represents happiness to me. This is because a large part of happiness to me is optimism. I noticed that I am only truly happy when my outlook on life is positive. The shamrock is a widely known symbol of luck. So blindly believing you will have good luck is a form of optimism. I keep this shamrock with me and its helps me stay optimistic and happy.

 

 Element of Shape      Shape, an element of photography, is an area inside of an enclosed outline. Shape is also two-dimensional. These 5 photos fit all the requirements and are valid examples of shape. First of all, the bullet hole my brother found in his house creates a circular shape. The rest of the photos are all taken on campus. The grates of the table form multiple shapes. Lastly, in the bricks, the grate, and the side of the cement tree enclosure, there are areas in enclosed outlines.  

  Color Color is reflected light. It has 3 qualities; hue, saturation, and value. Texture Texture engages the sense of touch. It is the way something feels or how it looks like it feels. Form Form means something has volume and is 3 dimensional. Shape Shape is an area enclosed by an outline. Space Space is a 3-dimensional illusion of depth. Line A line is a point moving in space. Value Value is the lightness or darkness of an image.
